I think lighting on a truck is just as important in its looks as anything else. You also have owner by owner preferences to throw in as well.

I went the route that made the most sense to me. I have a 09 plat. so already spending 30K ( after trade ins) no way was i going to replace all the lenses on the truck. I think they look fine, and the headlights/foglights with silverstars do great ( i would still like a little bit more high beam out on country roads)
So. i went to
http://www.v-leds.com/Shop/Control/fp/SFV/32481
they have a wide selection of LED lighting. I replaced every light in / on the truck with lED except puddle lamps ( need to take my time to undo the goo which holds them together) , fog lamps, headlights, front turn ( used silverstars )

all lights inside truck are led as far as map lights go. 3rd brake light , cargo lights and backup bulbs are both 194-9 led bulbs, ultra white.

license plate lights are tamed down versions ,

anyway. i will try to get some pics up this weekend. taken at night of course.

and the little changes we all do set our trucks apart from all the rest. but some of those aftermarket lenses look good for a year or so. then goto hell.

hope everyone has a great weekend.

bb

A little too rice for my liking too. But also, I'm in the minority by liking my oem chrome tail lights.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE not on your HD!!!!! Your truck is perfect the way it is. The lights are a little too euro for your truck. Your truck looks mean and tough. You are going to take away from that look. Just my 2 cents.

I like them also, although my truck is white and it blends in well.

I def wouldnt put them lights on any F150. They are awful. But if you do perhaps get some neons and a spoiler to get it all matched in.

The red ones aren't near as bad as the black ones, but still not something I would put on my truck. I would stick to either the Harley/Raptor lights or tint the stock ones.

Anyone have a link where I can buy the red ones, or did I miss it?

There, I fixed your post

It took Recon 4.5 years to make anything for the 04-08 F150 I wouldn't hold your breath.

the red ones look good but I would check to see if Hella is going to make them also.

I don't think they look bad. I would get the red or the black.

Not that I will get them, nor do I really like them, but I will say that sabersport did a pretty nice job on this Avalanche:
