Painting factory wheels...clear coat looks "dusty"

Nice. The chrome center caps go with the bumper, emblems, running boards.. etc. I wouldn't paint them as long as you have those things chrome. Blends the stuff in ya know..

That looks great! I came on here looking to see if anyone has done that and not only have you,but with the exact same wheel that I have. Can you give me some advice in respect to the prep work you did and type of paint that you used?
