Thanks for the pics. Very nice looking. Hard to tell but looks like the 2" kit still leaves the back end up slightly higher? Does it ride and drive the same?

Has anyone had an issue with a dealer wanting to deny warranty for having a leveling kit installed?

I noticed the same thing with the AS leveling kits. There is a company called hell bent steel that makes a true 2 inch leveling kit for our trucks. I saw pics of one on this site, here is the thread: https://www.f150online.com/forums/20...70-17-mts.html. The truck had a perfect stance to it!! Check the kit out at: http://www.hellbentsteel.com/catalog...wd/category/5/, the kit is only 80 bucks and you wont need to do anything to the rear.

After adding the 2" kit I measured the distance from the ground to the top of the opening above the tires and they were all four within a 1/8" of each other. It only has 600 miles on it, about 300 before and after, to me it drives & rides the same as before, just looks a lot better.

I haven't even ordered my truck yet and am thinking about this...How sick is that

Anyway.....

Is there such a thing as a 1" or 1.5" kit?? I wouldn't want it quite so level as to look like it's squatting in the rear when my camper is hooked up. But I would like a more level look when unloaded.

If you're going to tow or haul with your truck you should just leave the ride height stock. It's designed to work well from empty up to full GVWR and with it's maximum towing capacity. The aftermarket parts companies do not know more than the Ford engineers.

I'm always amazed at how powerful an incentive looks are to so many truck owners, even when it impacts chassis dynamics. It's a truck not a piece of jewelry!

I think the '09's and '10's look pretty balanced with the stock setup. Yeah, the rear is a bit high but with a full load it's a bit low. That's the way it should be.

Sure it's even with a full load in the back but for the 98% of us truck drivers that don't drive around with a full load in the back all of the time, the truck does have a bit too much rake (IMO). I will be putting a 1.5 AS and 33" tires this spring, from all of the research I've done the 1.5 doesn't hurt the truck dynamics much and does wonders for the look of the truck. I am almost embarassed to park next to my buddies 2500 Ram, makes my truck look like a 1/4 ton.......not for much longer though.

Recent model F-150's that I've seen hauling a full load look ***-low to my eye. But that is the way their engineered.

There is always the option of AAL if you are hauling heavy loads alot. I know my truck just came with a 3 leaf spring pack, a AAL should stop most of that sagging.

Just completed the 2" AS install this afternoon. An hour install is a little ambitious....took about hour and a half in a buddies body shop with full access to air impacts deep well sockets, pry bars, etc. Could have been a long afternoon in the driveway. But it looks awesome!!!!! Drives great down the road at all speeds, but steering wheel off a couple of degrees.....spend another $60 for alignment.

HBS kit installed yesterday. My brother and a friend of his did it for me and indicated it was real easy and took about 1 hour.

Hey guys...new to this site. Just got my new 2010 F150 Supercrew 4x4 2 weeks ago. Had a 2" Hell Bent Steel leveling kit put on yesterday. I think it looks great. All four corners are within an 1/8 inch height wise to the top of the wheel well. What size tires should I go with? I still have the stock tires on the 18" chrome wheels.

After
