Looking for a step by step WITH Photos on door panel removal

I searched the forum and then looked at 35 pages here and found a few step by step "text based" guides on how to remove the door panels (to install better speakers).

However, I am very nervous about breaking tabs and not getting the panel back on right (I have less than 500 miles on the truck). Could someone take a moment to post a step by step door panel removal with Pictures?

Thanks

I can help you out. Tell me what cab you have and I will send you the step by step directions from the workshop manual. It won't get any easier than this. PM me your email address.

10-4?

door panel removal

Very easy, approx 5 min per door panel, 2 screws bottom of panel and one screw behind door handle and one screw on bottom of pocket (where you grab door to close) lift panel up, do not pull out towards you. I use a straw when putting panel back on , as it is little tricky getting the lock to line up with hole in door panel

Aaagghhhhh.....everyone says this is so simple and I cant do it. Please help.

IBCOP, thanks for the directions but I cant figure out step 3 or step 7. There isnt anyway that I can see to remove the door handle cover plate. I am worried about jamming a screwdriver into it (where the black arrow indicates) because I dont want to scratch anything.

Same goes for removing the window control switch. I dont see where to pull on it.

I was able to complete all of the other steps, I am just stuck on these two.

Never mind, I got it...but suffered paint nicks around the door handle. New speakers are in and they sound a little better.

What speakers did you end up going with? Did you replace all 4?

Can someone send me the pictures also? I have a 2010 (probably similar to the 2009) SCrew, I want to install tint on the front windows and will need to take the trim off.

I had some year old INFINITY 6822cf speakers from my old truck. The sound is much cleaner now (before it sounded muffled). I only replaced the front.
