Mud Flaps with Running Boards?

Anyone know if the Ford molded splash guards will fit with the black platform running boards? If not the Ford ones, what about others (e.g., Husky, Weathertec, etc)?

Went to install 4-pr on the truck & dealer said the front splash guards Ford makes won't fit with the boards on. So, I just bought the rear flaps but they looked like they'd fit on the front also (although holes don't line).

Thanks!

i have the ford tubular and husky mud guards fit perfect you might buy a pair and see if they fit and if they don't maybe you can modify them and the installation is very easy to do.

Any pics?

Thanks, Powerkid...would like to see pix if you have 'em available. I'm not crazy about the black boards, but they came w/ the truck so I'll use them for now.

Maybe I'll return the rear Ford flaps & buy a set of 4 Husky's. Also, thinking about putting the rear Ford ones on & Husky's on front...wonder if that would look strange?

I went with Cloud Rider mud flaps on the front and back of mine. My old one had those formed mud flaps and they hug over the side of the truck. When I went to take them off there was a lot of paint missing from where they were mounted. Thats why I went with a rubber mudflap that doesn't hang over the side of the truck. They weren't too bad to install but they are heavy enough that they don't move a whole lot when traveling down the road.

update - new mud flaps installed

Decided to return the rear Ford flaps and buy set of 4 Husky Liner molded mud flaps. Just installed them yesterday...they fit & look great. Great price too as I paid $26/pair from Amazon.

Good job. I think they're tougher than the Ford flaps. Know of many broken Ford flaps... My Huskys are like new.
