Trouble with squeaky leaf springs - anyone else?

deano, What's the fix on the TSB ? Is it something we can do as others have mentioned. Don't really want to have springs and bushings pulled and replaced if not needed.

Leaf springs make noise.

Mine (stock and my GF leafs both) squeak/creak at the spring clamps. Seafoam deep creep and white lithium grease cure the noise for a good while. I consider it regular maintenance.

the retaining clamps sit to tight to the spring pack, the tsb is to bend them back to 3/32 to 5/32 gap between the retaining clamp and spring pack.

Ya know, when I read this thread a few days ago, I tgold myself I didn't have this problem.....until I hear it Friday when I was getting out of the truck. I got up on the bumper and there is was.....

Another TSB for Ford to take care of.
