Pdi?

Does anyone know what a PDI is? I ordered a truck and the dealer called and told my wife it needed a PDI or to be PDI'ed before I could pick it up tomorrow. Im new to this new truck thing and was wondering if it is an inspection or what?

Pre-Delivery Inspection. They pull all the plastic covers and shields off, check/top off all the fluids and tire pressure and such, make sure no damage was done to the vehicle in transit, install dealer add ons like tint, license plate frames, rust proofing, glass etching, etc. (if applicable, of course) and give everything a once over to make sure it all works before you take the truck home.

Before you take possession of your new home or condominium, your builder is required to conduct a pre-delivery inspection, or PDI. During the PDI, it is very important to identify any items that are damaged, missing, incomplete or not operating properly. SK0-002 exam
Your builder is required to present you with a copy of the Homeowner Information Package at the PDI (unless it was presented to you by your builder at an earlier date). The Package contains important information regarding warranty coverage. 70-624 exam
This section explains the PDI and lets you know what you can expect from the inspection. You can also print a copy of the PDI Checklist to help you ensure your PDI is thorough and complete. 1z0-007 exam
