N-Fab Steps Questions

Hey guys,

I plan to get these bad boys but have a couple questions before ordering.

1. What is the difference between "Wheel to wheel" and "Cab Length"?

2. I have a 2009 SuperCab will it work since I dont have a full 4 door?

3. It seems in the pictures the steps are a touch to far forward. Are they in a good stepping spot? Or do they seem a bit off?

Thanks!!

Also, any photos on an SCab would be awesome!

x2!

I love mine. You should call N-Fab about your supercab. The only ones they list are for SuperCrews.

"Wheel to wheel" refers to the length. They would reach from the front wheels to the rear wheels. "Cab length" would be the length of the cab, like most nerf bars/steps. I assume when you purchase them you tell them your cab style and whether you want the wheel to wheel length or the cab length.

I get stuff out of my bed all the time from the sides. If I were to get wheel to wheel would it be ok to use the portion of the bar that isn't a step as a step? I wouldn't want to bend them or anything when carrying heavy stuff out the side.

Here is a pic from N-Fab's website showing 04-09 SCab. What do you guys think? Does it look silly having 2 steps when not a true 4 door?

I have called nfab already on the super cabs. They do have them - even for my configuration which is the supercab with a 5.5 bed. You will need to call them and get the part number for the supercab with the 6.5 bed.

You wouldn't be able to use the bar as a step. It tucks up pretty tight to the bottom of the truck. I tried it on mine and I couldnt get my foot in there.

I think the scab looks just fine with 2 steps on each side, wheel to wheel makes the steps flow better.

N-Fab is an awesome company to do business with. They stand behind their products 100%. I had a set on my 07 Tundra and they started to rust out (I live in the North East) after 1.5 years. They sent me another set no questions asked and they color matched them to my truck for nothing. I do plan on getting some wheel to wheel step from them for this truck.

To the OP call Missy at N-Fab and ask her about your questions. She can give you answers
