Leveling kit question

How much should I expect to pay for a 2" leveling kit including the front end alignment?

What are your opinions:
Can't afford new tires and leveling kit. I am planning to get leveling kit now and get 35x12.50x20 tires in 6-8 months. Do you all think it will look goofy with the stockers (275 55 20) until I can get the new tires. Will the front wheel well look too empty?

Just looking for your opinions.

Thanks in advance.

I would venture to say that paying somewhere around $200-$250 for the installation would be a fair price. However depending on the kit I would consider doing it myself. I'd go ahead and add the kit now, should look perfectly fine with just the kit installed. All the kit is doing is giving your truck a more agressive look. Also think of it this way it'll be like opening two presents for the same outcome. You'll get the enjoyment of the lift now and once you add the larger tires you'll get another small lift and yet again some more enjoyment. Good luck.

When you install the AS kit, the alignment only needs a "toe-in" adjustment.

Do the front end leveling kits cause any long term issues like accelerated wear of the tie rod ends, ball joints, alignment issues, etc...? What about handling and ride?

My '09 is a 4X2, do many folks put these kits on them? I like the agressive stance of the 4X4 but don't have much use for it, which is why I have the 4X2. I figure for a couple hundred $'s I could get a similar look this way...
