I too asked this question months ago. The overwhelming response was MagnaFlow.

I put a Flowmaster Super 44 on mine and I couldn't be happier. Very loud and it roars when u get on it. Had Magnaflows and Flowmaster 40 on my old f150. I liked the Flowmaster better but the Super 44 series blows the 40 series out of the water. Definately a matter of opinion, but hands down...Flowmaster Super 44!!

Once my 09 arrives in two weeks, I am planning on going with a Flowmaster Super 44 SI/SO muffler. I have a flowmaster super 40 SI/DO on my 99 and liked how that sounded. The 09 are just way to quiet to not change mufflers out. When I installed the exhaust on my 99 I know I lost some low end torque so my plan was just to keep the single exhaust but switch out mufflers.
