I just picked up my new 09 FX4 and want to change to console lid to leather to match the black leather seats.Did this mod in my 06 Fx4 and it look awesome.

Its black but its that rubber material that the door armrests are made of. I'm looking for the part number for the lid out of a lariat or platinum which are leather wrapped.

I tried searching to find a leather lid for my fx and came up with needing a lariat part number 9L3Z-1506024-CC. It lists as charcoal leather and tasca has it for 138 bucks. Hate the factory plastic/vinyl cover and like the way this one is stitched.

Just completed this mod. It adds a nice touch to an already classy interior. I highly recommend it.

 

Funny, I just saw this thread but when I picked up my new FX4 in December it is the first thing I noticed when I crawled out of my Lariat and into the new FX4. Tried to get the dealer to swap the lid from my Lariat right then. He ordered me one and amazing how much difference it makes. First world problems!
