Electronic Locking Rear Axle Ratio with a 4x2 Drive.

My question is regarding the locking rear axle options available on the F150. I always hear people talking about how the locking rear axle is engaged in a FX4 or a Raptor or something that is in fact 4x4 drive. however the locking rear axle is widely available for the 4x2 drive trucks. So, i geuss i'm asking, how does it work for a 4x2?

You pull a **** out and it engages the rear locker. Push it back in it disengages. Just not sure the speed it automatically disengages. On a 2010 Fx4 in 4hi it disengages at 25mph. With the raptor mod it disengages in 2wd at only 5mph or a tad higher. I would think newer models with the locker in the 2wd's would stay on longer though.
