O% or rebates?

O% or rebates?

looking at a new f150 supercrew and here are the numbers please help what is the better way to go? MSRP is 44K

0% to 60 months PLUS $1000 rebate OR 1.9% to 72 months PLUS $1000 rebate thru today. Also, 0% to 36 months PLUS $2500 rebate thru end of the month. Each, on approved credit.

Well can you afford the monthly payment at 36 months? If you can I would go with that.

If you can afford it go with the shortest time span. If you go with the 72 you will be upside down on it if you ever go to sell it or trade it down the road. Your truck will deprecate its value and you will end up oweing more then the value by the time you pay it off. Does that make sence. Like if you went to trade it in 5 years or sell it you will owe more then it would be worth. Never go past 5 years if you can help it.
