Installing wasn't too bad. Travis did the pre-wiring and instructions. Great service from him. Wish I could say the same about Code.
I can't speak to the installer you guys are using, but i had this same remote start on my 07 XTR and it's definately not worth the money. The big fancy two way remote worked ok for the first few months, but it ended up packing it in, and it's one expensive piece to replace. My dealer couldn't get any support from them either so the warranty wasn't worth much of anything.

I wouldn't purchase another one.

You need to call Code. There is a lifetime warranty on the system. And I was the installer.

That's what i was told too...but when it came to crunch time, they said the company wouldn't fix it. Maybe it's a canadian thing...

Regarless...it went with my last truck. Time to start over with a new one

I have the two-way Viper alarm but I don't know the model number. Ended up getting it installed at Best Buy ... but that's only because I kept calling around for prices and told them I had a better price than I actually did.

IIRC I paid roughly $650 for the thing installed. Just bluff a few places and see what you get.
