Was about to order Daystar 2" leveling kit. Second Thoughts

Hey guys,

I read that with the Daystar 2" leveling kit I would have to grind off like 5/16'' off of my factory strut studs. I don't like the idea of this. Is there a different kind of leveling kit that I could get without having to go through this trouble? I plan to run 285/65/18 or 305/60/18 Nitto TG's as well.

Thanks in advance!

What other leveling kit would you recommend that doesn't require cutting any OEM studs? Please give input why you recommend your choice.

ReadyLIFT?
AutoSpring?
SkyJacker?
etc?

Thanks!

I'd go with the 2 or 2.5 inch Autospring kit. A ton of 04-08 owners here have them and love them. I've never heard anyone mention having to trim the mounting studs.

Will the 285's fit without the leveling kit?

Thanks, its an 09 supercrew 4x4. If I use the stock 18 inch rims, will I have any rubbing?
