My 09 XLT stickered for 37370. Got it for 29927. Out the door for 32543. Live in Ohio, bought it in West Virginia. Knew someone that got me the x-plan price.

And now since the beginning of this thread, you are paying a higher net price?
I ended up choosing a different truck that had slightly different equipment.

I actually talked them down a little more...

Actual MSRP Before ANY Discounts $37665

My Price out the Door $34,997 and just got approved for CU financing of 4.45% not too shabby.

The Tax title and license seems a bit steep. Thats about 3750 total. Mine isn't even half of that for my 09 fully loaded xlt.

Seems to me the dealer isn't giving you a great deal. But if all the dealing is done, papers signed and keys passed around, then enjoy the ride.

Well I don't know... They said I could get an additional $1000 off if I were financing through Ford.

Also, the truck is getting dealer traded from another dealership that is over 400 miles away. So I am sure they have to cover some sort of cost to have it flat bedded that far.

I guess I could see if they would do $34k flat but I don't know..

Then why not, at least for a few months. Have you asked them for a quote and calculated the costs for each option?

Dealer's problem, not yours.

$33k OTD. What can they say, no?

finance thru ford motor credit than refi thru a a bank or credit union at a better rate and if the dealer gives you any b.s. about waiting a couple of months its bull and ask dealer to show you of a copy of the invoice of the truck price the truck out on kelley blue book or edmunds.com . if you belong to costco or sams club they have a good auto buying service GOOD luck.

I'd be surprised if they trailered it. Originally I was looking at doing a dealer trade. But it seemed like nobody close would trade except for one in North Dakota. The dealer said it would have 800 miles on it by the time I got it so I said I wasn't paying for a new pickup and having 800 miles on it by the time I got it so I decided to wait 2 months and order the exact one I wanted.
