Looks great! Deffinitely going to be trying this. Did you just use spray clear?

Yes, I used regular spray can clear. No doubt the professional clear would last longer. but I sprayed the lower bumper on my 2003 with Krylon and clear from a can and it lasted 6 years. I figure I'll need a new platform for mods before then.

Great job, looks fantastic!! Did you do all the sanding and polishing that has been discussed in other Niteshade related threads, or did you simply apply a few coats then clear coat it? Thanks! I'll be trying this soon.

I like the light bar. Great looking truck. I voted for you in TOTM as well.

I did sand it down with some 1000 grit wet or dry, then hit it with a couple of coats of Niteshade, then clear coated it. I got it even darler the first time and sanded off some of the tint and applied a lighter coat. I put on a couple coats of clear and then applied a good wax over the top.

Thanks for the compliment and the vote! I'm giving it all I've got in the contest, just not a lot of accessories out for the 09's yet. That and 60 days doesn't give you much time to get the parts on and the truck visible.

Much better. I hate the 04+ 3rd brake lights, so ricey looking.

If I had an '09 I would try to paint the taillamp housings black lke 04 - 08 headlamps, then one light VHT layer on the lens, would look amazing.
