Frustrated beyond words!

So, I placed my order for my '09 Screw 4x4 the third week of April and was told 5-6 weeks. After 3 weeks, I am told that all F150's are now only comming out of Kansas City, and that it would be 9-10 weeks! As of last week, the dealer had a confirmed build date of June 15th. Now today I am told that my build date has been changed to JULY 13TH !!! If the date doesn't change again, my order to receive will be 14 WEEKS!!!
Has anyone else ever had this happen to them? I don't know what to do, or what way to even respond to this! I know that my dealer is not jerking me around, because I personaly read the vomputer last week, and saw the build date & VIN#. Any thoughts?
If I wern't such a Ford lover, I would be looking at a new Silverado tomorrow!!!

What specifically are you looking for? The dealer I bought mine from has 56 in stock at one location and 45 at another. They usually have a pretty good selection and also have dealer trade available if needed. Mine came from MN originally. Where in MN are you located?

Seems to me you are getting a 2010, not 2009 F150.

I had the same thing happen on an 05 F250. I ordered it in March got the run around until June. The dealer was nice enough to put me in a loaner and my 06 F250 arrived in September. That is why I am looking at dealer inventory now. He wanted me to order an 09 F150 but I figured it would be another 9 month debacle.

No, have only looked at Woodhouse online. Actually my last two have come from Sioux Falls Ford. They also have a stores in Apple Valley, and Shakopee, MN just south of the cites,

I traded over the internet and beat the local delaers by a couple thousand on my trade and let me keep whatever accessories off of my old truck I wanted.

I am in Faribault Mn.. 35 mi. South of Mpls.
The Truck I have on order is....
Lariat Screw 4x4, 5'5", Tri-Sand W/ Latiat Plus and full Chrome pkg. & power equip pkg.
Tailgate step, 20" Chrome wheels, floor mats, Sony 6-disk sound system
Leather Captain chairs & Camel int.
Remote start
Didn't want the moon roof or power rear window, and couldn't justify the Nav. system, but prety much a full boat otherwise.

I didn't think about that. I it possible that the "deadline" was met, and they are making the break between the 09's and 10's pushing mine back another month? I wonder if they will honor my Tri-Sand if that should be the case???

The retool is set to mid/end of July for the 2010 models. So for your sake I hope they arent giving you a 2010 because then you probably wont see job 1 models until end of Aug/ Sep.

I ordered a truck on May 8th. My build date and delivery dates keep changing as well. Supposedly my truck is supposed to be built on june 15th. BUT - I cannot get anyone to confirm this. That is changed from being delivered by the 15th. Now my delivery is scheduled between the end of june and the 1st week of july. And get this - they tell me but cannot explain why the truck I have ordered is scheduled to go to lake charles LA. I am in california.

Before - I could call ford and they could/would give me specific data using my VIN. Now when I call it is near impossible for them to give me any information regarding build/delivery and just cant seem to find any information by using my VIN. Seems very strange and I am about to give up on ford and tell them to stick it up their ***.

The longer they delay my delivery the more incentives will expire. I am going to my dealer which I ordered the truck from to see what is going on and to see what incentives they will still honor. I will not pay another 4k for a truck because the incentives have expired and not buying a screw either. I have already lost the ford advantage plan due to people having their head up their ***. Maybe that is the plan for the delays - wait until current incentives expire.

Now - I am starting to look at other trucks and might just drop the whole deal altogether. If my order gets pushed anymore or no answers provided I will not buy a ford and looks like i will be buying another toyota.

Good luck to you and your deal.

Share these thoughts with your dealer and you should see action! Have them look around for a dealer trade for you...the '09's are on the lots now!! I feel for you, my order got kicked back about 3 weeks and I was not happy - but the wait was worth it - I really enjoy this new F-150 - many improvements over my 2005 Lariat 4x4 Screw...hang in there

I must have ordered mine at the right time. Placed the order on April 8th...I picked it up from the dealer on May 11th. Granted, I live in the Detroit area, so there were no truck or rail transit time delays...
