Dirty roof!!
OP - stand in the bed and use a two step ladder for the front and windshield
I use the running boards and can get one side by walking down the running board and then do the other side the same way.
By the way I hate those grooves in the roof. I can't believe they are there for support. They do hold water and if you live on a dirt road like I do they collect dirt. After washing that roof I sure don't plan on going back up there sucking that water out of the grooves!

Just a tip for people who don't know this but when you are rinsing your truck don't use the spray nozzle. Remove any attachment you have on the end of the hose and let the water flow freely and start at the top of your truck and get the water to run like a sheet and then move the hose lower down the body work until you get to the bottom. It makes drying your truck about 5x quicker and is a lot better for your paint work as most of the water will come of in a sheet instead of building up droplets everywhere.
It's a hard thing to choose between! Hot women in bikini's cleaning your truck but leaveing it covered in swirls or me cleaning it and not leaveing a swirl. I will take the no swirl option please.
Sounds like you need some on the rain we been having the last 3 months. We had the same sort of thing in the UK at one time and i went out and bought a couple of 50 gallon water barrels to store rain water for plants and car washing. I rigged up a 3bar shower pump to the barrels and an inline filter and it lasted me until they called of the drought warning. Pretty hard to empty 100 gallon worth of water with a pressure washer.
They are for rigidity. Any time you have a large panel like that, it takes a much thicker material if you do not put the channels in.
You might be able to use Optima No Rinse wash (ONR). It's a great product and you'll only use a 2-3 gallons of water.
