Mirror conversion update/help 09 Platinum

09 Platinum came with Trailer tow Mirrors. I purchased the power folding mirrors and installed them(very easy). I also repalced the switch. The dealer also ordered the relay and thats where the problem is. The mirrors don't fold just by pluging them in. All the wires in the clips are there. So I kind of think it's the right wire harness. I could be wrong. There is no listing for the Power Folding relay in the manual. Dose anyone know where this relay is found? Or any other help would be great.

Thanks
Chris

as I understand it from a previous post here, it's somehow related to the power driver's seat.

can you tell me the part numbers for the power folding mirrors and switch? please? I would be eternally grateful!

Awesome...thanks, Chris!

Are you sure the mirror part numbers don't start with 9L3Z, rather than 9L32?

wow they are expensive mirrors. Even using Tascafordparts.com, they are $294 and $409 each. I hope mine never get broken.

i took a quick look at the wiring for the mirrors and all i can say is make sure that fuse F12 7.5 Amp in the smart junction box is there. but there is no relay to be installed.

now do the mirrors work? if not you may need to take it to the dealer to replace the drivers seat module or it may just be a reflash of the module. because anything with power mirrors and memory function everything runs through the DSM.

what if my seat doesn't have the memory function? it's just a 6-way power seat.

Thanks...so does that mean tying into the DSM is unnecessary in my case?
