Good bye Mustang Gt, Hello F150 again

I am trading in my 07 Mustang Gt this Tuesday for an 09 F150 FX4. I am getting the Razor Red Super Cab. The options I am getting are the FX4 Luxury Package, Sony 6 Disk CD Changer 700 watt Stereo with Subwoofer, 5" Chrome Step Bars, Power Moonroof, Power Sliding Rear Window and Back Up Camera. I wanted the 20" Wheels but couldn't find the truck built like that in my area. Oh well I can deal with the 18" wheels for now.

I cant wait to be back in a truck. Yes I love my Mustang but it's not very practical where I live anymore and it has become a cop magnet since I did all the mods to the car.

I plan on modding the truck up some what but not to the extent I did on the Mustang. I will be putting a Magnaflow dual side exit cat back system on the truck as soon as possible and Hood deflector along with window vent shades.

I do have a question about tuners for the truck and maybe someone here can help me out.
I have an SCT Excalibur Tuner for my Mustang and I was wondering if it will work on the new truck if I had it programmed for it. I really don't want to see it go with the Mustang.

Wow, We must have very similar tastes. My 09 FX4 SCab is scheduled to be delivered tomorrow Black on Black, Lux. package, Sony 6 Disc w. Sub, Stainless running boards and 18's. I will be getting rid of my 02 Mustang GT, which I hate to do, but it isn't practical for me anymore either. This wil be my 3rd F-150, and I have a feeling it is going to turn into a money pit just like the Mustang did as far as mods go, haha. Oh well. Enjoy the new rig, they are a fine piece of machinery thats for sure.

My truck will be at the dealership today after 1pm and I will be picking it up tomorrow morning....freakin work!

I cant wait to get going on the add-ons, well some will come right away and others will follow in time like larger tires and wheels, maybe a lift, not sure on that one yet though as I like to park the truck in the garage.

Why not order a 2010 with the changes that they've made vs 09.

I know what you mean.

I went to the dealer to trade in my 2005 STX F-150 for a Ranger. I wanted to downsize and get something more economical. I came home with a 2009 F-150 XLT, Sync, tow package, 3.55 axle... the works. I sat in it, drove it, had to have it.

I don't believe you'll be able to order a 2010 until at least August, right?

I was in the same situation a couple of months ago, except I traded in an IS 350. Haven't missed it one bit.
