Nice! I mean it wasnt a huge issue...It's not like your taking the sub box out 4 times a day.
Overall it looks really clean and well planned out.

That little kit is really handy. I have used it almost everytime i have worked on the inside of the truck. Cant wait to get the sub in there and fire it up.

Is the box sealed already? Or are you going to wait until the sub is in before sealing it up?

Your driver's side rear seat is going to be the hot seat in your truck!

I just remember sitting in a buddies car once, he had 2 15s with 1000 W each, and the subs did the breathing for me, haha.

Nice job. Does it look like the sony sub can be removed from its enclosure? Just wondering if I ever decide to upgrade amp and sub. I might try to retain the stock box.

Yeah it does look like it can be removed. Shouldnt be to much hassle upgradeing the sub and amp on the current box. Only problem is you will prob have to upgrade the supply cables.

Looks real clean and professional. I look forward to hear your thoughts on the sound when the sub arrives.

Thanks guys. I will post up the wiring spec for the harness when it comes so that people know the deal with that also.

I really don't think i could be bothered to build custom boxes. It's the sort of thing people don't want to pay a lot of money for and with over 40 hours into it at my normal day rate, it would make the thing more money than my amp and sub. The most expensive 08 f150 box i seen so far was $250 with free shipping. Ok it not as advanced as mine but still it would def take me longer than a day to build it and cost a fortune to post it.

I think what they are trying to say is that now that you have built one you have all the sizes and know how to put it togther since you have done it once. Another idea is to sell for a small amount the plans so that some one can do a DIY sub box.
