Tundra CrewMax or F-150??
There was no doubt in my mind that if you drove both you would end up with a 09 F150. The people who dont normally end up with another truck. Make sure ya post some pics of the new ride and give us all a shout if ya need any info. Post ya spec as well.
I have driven both. I think the Tundra shifts too harshly. The F150 is more refined and has the best interior in the class. I also like the 6.5 foot bed option. I am looking at the F150 for its rear cab room, 6.5ft bed very heavy frame and tow packages. Watch the F150 comparo on Utube against the big three and it is a no brainer.
When i was looking at trucks a few months back a biggy for me was the box bounce I read about on tundrasolutions people were actually getting sick from this yikes.. then I saw the proving grounds comparision and it was a new brainer not to mention the fact my 06 lariat never let me down
Oh yeah I forgot to mention my ATV buddies were splitting their tailgates when loading their quads. Toyota would not cover the damage and told them to remove their tailgates before loading. I have had a thousand lbs of concrete and water on my F250 tailgate...

Talk about graphic!
I parked next to one (turdra) that had that same thing going on, except it was in the driver front wheel well area, not the tailgate. Cracked and rusting, and it was obviously a new "truck".
Forget that!

Yeah, but y'all got to remember Tundra's have aluminum blocks, forged steel cranks, and headers born from racing, and we all know those things go a long way in making for a good work vehicle. So put that in your pipe and smoke it.
But serioulsy I found out today that my boss who got his 08 Tundra new maybe a year ago has to take it back to Toyota to get the oil changed if he wants to keep him warrenty and he's already had the truck down for a couple weeks while his warrenty had to replace a worn out wheel bearing. Thats pretty crappy for a new truck.

Don't know if anyone has seen this but here is another example of why you should buy a Ford. I would never buy a Toyota truck.

^^I think this is relevant especially if he buys the truck to keep for years. I know if I owned a 2001 Toyota Tundra (not exactly 10-15yrs old) I would be super ticked if it looked like that. If he trades his vehicles in every year then I would say who cares what you buy because it'll be gone in 12 months but if the purchase is long term, I would like to know how previous models of the Tundra's have aged so poorly. Would affect my decision
