So, I see the dealer charged $7495 and $7995 for these mods. What is a realistic cost for me if 1) and bought the parts and did it myself or 2) I paid a shop to do the same? Trying to get a ballpark cost to save up for.

Thanks for your comments in advance.

Howdy, I see that they used Toyo tires but what rims where those? I am looking to do pretty much the same with my brandy new 09 XLT Supercab and really need to compile info on cost, brands, time, etc.... but hope to have a sweet truck someday very soon.

Its just you. They probably look like that because the new front ends are more box shaped, as opposed to the 04-08 models with the more rounded fronts.

I was thinking the same thing and thought that they should have added some aftermarket fender flares to complete the look. Otherwise the trucks look good.

I noticed that as well. I'm pretty sure it's safe to say that if you saved up $7500 to either do the work yourself or pay an indy shop to do the work, you'd have money left over.
