I want to remove the overhead console to wire some power into one of the sunglass holders for mounting a GPS, I dont see any screws or anything in there so I am assuming it is probably spring clips of some sort but dont want to pull it off and break it......anyone have a clue?

If you have a crew cab remove the map and dome lights. Remove the two screws up front and 2 in the rear. Slide the rails forward and pull down. I just want to let you know that it is hell re-installing.

 

There are no screws in the 09, just four spring clips. Pull straight down starting with the back edge and it'll pop off.
