Fusion Key info

Any special information needed to go with the Fusion key for the 09 F-150's? Searching around on eBay finds many keys and most with different FCC numbers.

Has ayone already bumped up to the Fusion style key? If so, did you go directly through the dealer?

Happen to have the part number from Ford?

Thanks in advance!

As long as you keep displaying your pic, I truly hope nobody responds to your inquiries. First impressions are everything and you threw it all on the table. We're all impressed with your southern hospitality!

What is your problem? From your posts, it would appear you have had some sort of bad experience with law enforcement. But don't take it out on me. I'm sorry if you don't like the profession, but it's the one I chose to do. Either contribute to the forum and questions posed, or don't say anything.

No issues whatsoever and I've had none.

I guess I just don't get what your pic is attempting to communicate. Maybe it's a west coast/east coast thing but it doesn't work here in the west. Gun, handcuff, etc. What are we supposed to think?

Back on topic as for a Fusion key, it works. The F150 has eight programmable available slots. Buy the key and run through the routine.

The impression I get from the pic is he is proud of his profession and simply displays some of the more iconic tools of his trade. Not sure why anyone would read anymore into a simple picture other than to make something out of nothing.

+1 as a matter of fact - I'm pretty happy that there are LEO's out there putting their lives on the line for the rest of us!! I have a couple of LEO friends and respect what they do and the fact that on any given night they may not be coming home...sobering isn't it

Those who criticize...just how dangerous is your career

Thanks to everyone for understanding the pic.....hence my user name.....the pic simply shows tools of the trade. I've had the pic since joining and never an issue until now.

Anyway, Hotlap, the Fusion key, well is made for the Fusion.

It has the transponder built into the key so you wouldn't have an extra FOB hanging from your key ring. I personally like them, although some don't. Here is a link to one on eBay:
