Anybody yet found a fix for DVD and Nav POI while in motion for the new Nav/Sync in a Platinum?

Sure. Watch TV, text, read a book. Why should anyone actually pay attention to driving?

It is getting crazy how many people i see driveing all over the road not paying ay attention to what they are doing then when you get next to them they are chatting away on the phone whilst trying to do something else at the same time as driveing. The one i see often is women talking on phone smoking whlst going through their handbag. Bro in laws wife does it all the time. She is all over the ****** road.

I am actually very interested in this, since they don't offer the dvd pkg on my 09, I was planning on this feature for my son riding in the back seat while we travel. Didn't realize until after I ordered that it wouldn't play while driving, so it would be very nice to find a bypass.

I understand why they set it up this way though, as I am sure there are people out there who would actually watch a movie while driving.

For $1500 we had a tv put in both headrests of our Range rover sport. They both have there own built in dvd player and they match the car perfectly. Find a good place to get that done and you will be legal then.

I want it for my kids too! I was going to buy the headrests but think they are way too expensive.

Nav-Tv has a fix that is $499. I think Car Toys is a dealer, I've been meaning to go by and talk to them.

If anyone figures it out, please let me know!

Josh

Thumbs down

Yeah, you can have the dealer install the DVD's in the headrests. DVD while driving on front screen is just a bad idea. A split second can mean a lot when driving a vehicle that can kill.

The one that bothers me the most is women who are always jamming the rear view mirror all over the place and playing with hair/makeup/etc. I see it around me all the time, especially when driving to work in the morning. I don't mean to be sexist, but in my driving life I've never seen a guy doing that. But I see women all the time doing it, not paying attention to the road. Makes me ill.
