That's cool. I was at the dealer just days ago and he said the best they had right now on '09 150's was a $2,500 rebate.

Are you sure it was for the 2009? At least in my region, the best 2009 Incentive is still the 3,000 customer cash thru 2/2. But for any remaining 2008 F-150s, they've add 4,000 cash back on top of the employee pricing they had before.

As it stands in Metro Detroit:

$3,000 Customer Cash or 4.9%APR (60mo).

Other goodies that can be added on depending on your situation:

$1500 Lease turn-in
$500 Competative lease turn in (ie, non-Ford product). Pretty sure this was in addition to the $1500.
$500 X-plan customer loyalty (ie, if you got your last vehicle off Xplan and have a pin for this purchase you get it.)

That's 5K off sticker right now. On Xplan it was just over 8K in discounts for an '09 F150.

NOTE: THESE ALL SET TO EXPIRE 2/2/09. Not sure what will carry over.

Yes, it was for the 2009.

Zip is 55429

I just looked on ford's website and it still say's 3k also. One Thing I have been noticing the commercials around here always says "From your Northland Ford Dealers"....and there offers never match up with the ford site on what was on the commercials, they are almost always better.

Kind of interesting...looks like it's a regional dealer thing?

Ah, interesting! So maybe this is a DEALER incentive and not a Ford incentive.

Unless the economy does a 180 soon, I'm sure all vehicle dealers and manufacturers will continue with good discounts. Sure would be nice if that doesn't change until after the spring when I plan on picking up an '09. I bought my '04 in early March of '04 and I won't do that again. Getting a brand-new vehicle in the middle of winter is a huge drag. Won't make that mistake again, so let's hope those rebates either continue or increase.

Y'all deserve $4K

If you go buy a car in MN right now, you deserve the rebate. The extra $1K incentive should help pay for the medical bills for your frost-bite!

Just a warning on the incentives. I had an accident with my 06 back in Dec. They finially totaled it last week. I went to the dealer to buy an 09 and I am currently being denied the $1500 loyalty rebate and $500 x-plan rebate because I didnt term my contract. The dealer pled my case and was denied and I complained to Ford Corp. and they denied me saying not all buyers qualify for the rebates. What a load of BS.

I just saw $5,000 here in Illinois. It was shown on an XLT, though. When they reach $5,000-$6,000 off on a new Lariat, King Ranch, or Platinum Supercrew, I'll be driving down to my dealer... very quickly. Did I say VERY QUICKLY?

An excellent word of warning. Always read the fine print and be sure you qualify before signing on the dotted line!

I went to the dealer last weekend and looked at a Lariat. Sticker said a little over $44k. I'm not willing to pay over $30k for any truck but just for fun I asked them what they could do for a price on the Lariat. The first number out of their mouth was $35K. That's a pretty damn good deal. Over 9K off without haggling.

That was on an 09?......that is a great starting price!

I was at my dealer the other day just looking at the new 09's again and checking out the Super duty's. They have this 08 red FX4 6.4 loaded with everything that has been sitting there since last spring. A salesman walked up to me and I ask him how much they are taking off of it? He said they are at 46k......on a 53k sticker. I said have a good day and enjoy having it sit there til next spring!
