That's funny, right there! I don't care who you are!

So what do you think, Jim? Did I capture the essence of the droning sound, or did I somehow not hit it squarely? It's such a tough thing to describe.

That's about the size of it. The gains we saw on the 2004 and 2006 F150 were almost exactly the same. I used to have the old dyno plots of the gains but haven't been able to locate them.

I'm definitely with you on the free. That's my kinda price!

I find it a little hard to believe that jus adding a CAI of any brand to a vehicle with a 14.6:1 AFR will in itself create a lean condition. There's no way (short of seeing some dyno results) that just an intake on these ECU controlled vehicles would ever drop the AFR below 13:1.

I'm not saying you wouldn't be able to make a believer out of me, don't get me wrong, but it's hard to take that one at face value. The fear of that certainly would not alter my decision to get one if that's what I was in the market for. That's what you should do some real world testing on since those things are usually a very popular/first mod.

Also, could you guys clarify what was tuned for me...was it the trucks stock computer, or was this all done with a piggyback device like an Edge or something??

Maybe im confused but 13:1 vs 14.6: you just made it richer not leaner. I think you have it backwards. Also with the 05+ mustangs to add an CAI you have to get a tune. So i seem to believe ASEMechanic.

You know what would look really good instead of the goofy plastic intake? A Whipple supercharger. Anyone have any ideas when they will release a kit for the 09?

I met with Bill while he was in Utah working on the '09. I saw the Dyno Graphs first hand and was simply amazed. Bill is a wonderful guy to talk to, he knows how to tune vehicles that is for sure. I removed the snorkel on my '05 and can tell it breathes better.

I'm sorry, but your Barometric pressure is way off. If it was correct, you dyno'ed the truck on a day where it was lower than the worst hurricane ever to hit the US. :o

I bet if it was 30.XX, your results would be alot different!

so it makes about 305-310 at the fly wheel. sounds about right for that altitude.

So you gained 25RWHP/55RWTQ roughly (overall not just peak). Thats pretty sweet!

So basically from what I can tell is stock was about 230/255 with tune being 255/310.

Stock 04-08 does like 225 rwhp, and 250 rwtq?

I have a question though, does the new ceperate tranny ECM make it a pain to tune like the earlier dodges?
