It is The FX4 with the luxury pkg ,it does come with heated and cooled seats ,ETAC etc. That is why I am trying to see why there is a $1500 price difference.I know the cosmetic differences -Lariat= chrome bumpers- color keyed wheel lip mouldings, etc, maybe that is why the price difference???

FYI...
In the U.S. anyway, the Lariat does not come with heated AND cooled seats IF you order the 40/20/40 seat. The heated AND cooled option only comes if you order the Captain's Chairs for the $895 additional cost.
As far as bumpers, too, the Lariat only comes with chrome ones with the monotone exterior, otherwise they are painted. The FX4 has painted bumpers, regardless. The XLT, however, has chrome bumpers in any case - even with two-tone.
The FX4 has a painted grille surround with the ugly flat black plastic bars - just my opinion. The Lariat and XLT get chrome grilles, at least.
The FX4 gets Grey wheellip moldings in all cases - two-tone or not. I'm not sure if they are that ugly flat gray plastic, or painted Sterling Grey. The Lariat's are always painted regardless of tone combination.
One other note for off-roaders or heavy haulers... besides the locker rear-end in the FX4, the wheels on the FX4 are standard 18" with optional 20" and 17" wheels. The 17's are nice for adding some heavy-duty thick-lugged aftermarket rubber, where the 18's and 20' are quite a bit more limiting.

I got FX4 because I don't like the new chrome grill and wanted the e-lock rear axle. I got it with pretty much everything and the only thing it is missing that I really wanted was cooled seats. It used to be that there was a lot like dual climate control, etc but now with lux package, it is pretty close.
The other cool thing is if you want the luxury package and nav, adding a moon roof results in a $1,000 luxury discount, so the moon roof is basically free.

What reason do you not like them for? Mine get pretty darn cold that it feels like im sitting on a cold lump of rock after a few mins. Cant wait to try them in summer.

Well, I guess I shouldn't have said worthless, but they just seem to be an option that I never use. The few times I've used them it makes my pants feel wet. I guess what I really meant is that I can take 'em or leave 'em. It is a pretty cool (no pun intended) option though.
