2009 Selectable Locker for a 2004?

Anyone have an insight as to what kind of selectable locker Ford is going to be putting in the 2009 F-150s? I was going to put an automatic locker in the rear, but now i might wait. I wanted to put a selectable in the rear in the first place but finding one for the 9.75 rear axle hasnt been succesful.

Install a detroit in your rear.
Its "on" when the truck is on, and "off" when the truck is off.

IN all reality you would have thought someone would have moved into this market...

Me personally, from an off-road performance stand point, I don't really know what Ford was thinking with putting a locker in the rear anyways. OK, a rear locker is maybe kinda cool for a 2WD, but it's not the way to go with a 4WD. If you want real world, off-road performance in a 4WD, keep a good limited-slip in the rear and put a good locker in the front. That's what Ford should have done, then it would be a really cool option. If it's an option, I would pass.

If you do a lot of off roading and really do need the benefits of a locker, get an Eaton E-Locker for the front of your truck. They do make that one for the 8.8 front, and that's the way to go!!

Personally I would rather have the limited slip in the front and the locker in the rear, so I can still steer. If you are really into offroad a locker in both ends is the way to go, most frown on limited slips.

My original question:

Does anyone know what kind of locker they r putting in the 2009 F-150?

Thanks for the recommendations.

Well ive already decided which i want as far as a locker or a limited slip. Im going with the ECTED up front its cheaper than the E-locker and a selectable locker in the rear if the one for the 2009 F-150 will work in the rear axle. If it wont then ill probably get the Auburn LS or the Detroit LS, ive heard nothing but good things about both.
