Quality facility sounds like a step in the right direction, after the super squeeky and super noisy '04-'08 lineup. Time to get back to the quality of the '97-'03 line!

that is probably how they build them. They install the axle with a hoist, install other components, then flip it over. That is how they build kenworth trucks. Amazing to watch them flip that big *** frame over like that. but it is better ergonomics for the mechanics.

At DTP (Dearborn truck plant):
Frame select line and frame line 1 the frame is upside down for assemble. At the front of line 2 the frame is flipped over (very cool to watch) and then continues through the system right side up.
If you look at the pictures of the "skillets", the first two are the same and used on frame lines 1 and 2. The next skillet has nothing on it in the picture, but is used for lines 3-7. It has hydraulic lift system that moves the truck up or down to make it easier to install components. The last skillet is the trim area skillet and works the same as the chassis 3-7 skillet.

Lets hope those are the XL rims, gah. Another vote for most likely the 5.4L, look at the exhaust manifold, identical to our current gen. I can't believe someone said their 07 doesn't rattle It better not yet. This 04 does, wait until you have taken apart the truck several times, the plastic clips begin to shave in width upon reinsertion and form 'play' in them. The rattles will begin.
