Help with buying a 2013 F150?

I am ready to buy a new F150 XLT. Can you give me links to help with what I should pay? I am in Western New York.

Look up the rebates and incentives on Ford's website ( not some other automotive site ), make sure you put in your zip code and model of truck, print it out and hi-lite each one that applies to you and the vehicle.....take it to the dealer with you and say you want invoice plus these rebates. Boom.

check out fairway ford...
http://www.fairwayford.us/
and shop the deal around locally. I asked my local dealer to meet /beat this price or I was taking a road trip to Ohio.

Does the 20%-30% include the rebates and incentives? Should I wait till the end of the month?

jim, probably no need to wait. XLT's in my area of North Carolina are anywhere from $10k - $11k off MSRP. That includes all discounts, and rebates/incentives. Looks to be close to the same along the east coast. As said www.ford.com will give you the rebates/incentives in your area now.

go to www.Edmunds.com

You can see what the dealer invoice price is, MSRP, and what others are paying for similarly equiped vehicles... plus see current incentives/rebates.

Was I off?

I went to the dealer today. They found a truck I want at another dealer. I assumed it is atleast a few hours away seeing that I searched every dealer near me for this truck. None had it.
With that being said. The MSRP is $43,155. There are $5000 in rebates and they offered me $3500 trade-in. $34,655 dealer offer.
Edmunds shows invoice at $36,589.-8500 rebate, Trade = $28,089.
I offered to pay $26,600 and they pretty much laughed at me. So I came back at $28,500.
They said we are still $5,000 to $6,000 apart from what the dealer wants.
So no deal was made and I left.
What do you think?

Invoice on that truck would be around 40,500. Minus rebates, whatever you qualify for (probably around 5000), then deduct trade equity. Send us a link to the truck, and your zip code. We will tell you where you should be. My guess is you can buy that truck 9 grand off MSRP, then factor in trade. 34,155 - 3,500 = 30,655. I would tell them out the door at 30 flat and see what they say. What hurts you is they don't have the truck so they lose a little money in going and getting it.

My .02.

NADA has the invoice right around 39,500 (dealer invoice is probably right at 40k). Ford's website will be updated tomorrow with new incentives. I believe all the ones available in March are now over. My guess would be that available incentives on that truck would be 5000-6000. After trade, if you are at 31k OTD, that's decent. Not being on their lot hurts you a little bit. Why don't you call the dealer that has it?

My deal below (March 5th):

2013 FX4 Supercrew 402A w/ Navigation.

MSRP $47,455
Trade covered payoff and covered doc fees/tax
Rebates/Incentives (5250)
Discount (3905)
OTD $38,300

Roughly 19.5% off MSRP with a trade that roughly breaks even. I could have pushed harder, but I was happy where I ended up and its financed at a low rate.

I looked at my print out from Edmund's. I was off somewhere cause the MSRP was about $3000 lower than it should of been. I will have to check when I get home from work.

looks up the meaning of invoice and doc fees. rebates and incentives are from FORD MOTOR COMPANY, not the dealer.
