Hidden bumper led turn signal "How to" w/pics

Well I must admit I do like LED's. I started looking at how I add a hidden turn signal and then I looked at the gap in between the bumper and the headlights. So I bought a 39" weather proof yellow led strip from Superbrightleds.com and got to work.
I took the led strip and cut it for about 17" and added wiring for the strip that didn't have wire on it.

The following is how I mounted them.

First you need to remove the pin holding the rubber flap next to the headlight assembly. The flap can then just be tucked out of the way.

Remove the screw on the side of the headlight.

Then remove the top 2 screws for headlight.

Once screws are removed you can pull the headlight straight out. Un-plug the headlight connector and twist out the turn signal and side marker lights.

Here is they are where I mounted them.

And a close-up.

Here is a shot of the wires I tied into.

I then clean the mount area very well. After cleaning I wiped it down with alcohol.
Then peel the backing off of the adhesive strip and carefully place the strip in place. I started on the black plastic section near the fender well first. There is a gap from the black plastic to the bumper section that you will not be able to stick the strip to. Just make sure you press the strip on good to make sure it adheres.

Here is the strip mounted and off.

After you wire them up you just put everything back together and you are set.
Here it is finished.

Please provide more detail on the parts you used. Do you think it is possible to do this mod in the rear? Thanks.

I got the part from superbrightleds.com, part number WFLS-x60 Flexible Light Strip$ 23.95. It is a 39" strip. I just cut it and put my wire in the second piece.
As for the rear, there have been a several products out there for the rear for years. The most popular is "Line of Fire", or "Fire and Ice" led light bars. Search Ebay.

awesome job, looks like a sleek rendition of the stangs corner lights.

One suggestion though, and i know its probably mostly the camera but swap that front turn signal bulb with and LED amber tower.
The LEDs in the bumper and the LEDs in the mirror are in sync but the headlight kinda glows in and out of sync slightly.

Lol im sorry im OCD. And im sure in person its not that bad.
