Traction Control Fuses

Has anybody tryed pulling the Stability an Roll fuses?? If so how did it work?? Im thinking if i pull those fuses it will only take 1 push of the TC button to fully turn off all TCs. With out having to hold the button down for 5seconds everytime you pass 35mph....

And then when you swerve to avoid someone on a wet road and your truck flips over because you forgot to replace the fuses after your hardcore off-roading you will know why!

well lets hope you don't kill someone, and then blame and sue Ford for being stupid.

You have to admit it's kind of a lame question. Basically you want to deactivate the stability safety systems while you are a) "offroading" at b) speeds greater than 35 MPH - two factors that are already increasing your risk for a rollover or other accident. I can understand wanting to disable ONLY the TCS (which can already be done without any hacking) but I fail to see how disabling the other stability systems will help you offroad. Besides, if you're already going >35 offroad, you're obviously not in a touchy enough situation where the stability systems kicking on would cause you more harm than good.

Not true. I have been in situations where it would cause me more harm than good. Been offroading in my platinum on turns that if you go over the edge of the turn, there's a steep drop off/cliff. The characteristics of the dirt/sand would make it so sometimes the truck would slide a bit. I know how to control the slide, but mid turn the truck will REENGAGE the systems and grab traction. Usually a good thing right? Well not when youre mid turn/slide and the truck grabs traction and now points you straight off the edge of the turn.

That's my purpose for disabling it, and I assume the same or similar reason for him.

Ya, theres alot of times were it can be more harm then good. And also like i said, having to hold the button down everytime i pass 35mph is kinda lame. Especially when it snows everyday and you dont wanna have to use 4x4 everytime..

Really, and you're going around this turn that drops off a cliff faster than 35 MPH? You know how to "control the slide?" Why are you even here? You should be an off-road race driver!

And here the thing that's going to cause you the most problems is TCS, which you don't have to disable each time you pass 35.

Yea, after 35mph only TC remains off. Even when you go below 35mph again. You gotta hold the button down evertime...

so, have you ever tried driving in sand? That is one situation where you really want to kill the TS and SC together.

i really think some of you bought the wrong truck, for the things your asking for and want from a truck, you need a raptor.

I think your truck does not leave the pavement, and your 4x4 is not used to its 100% potential.
