A small problem I know, but I any thoughts are appreciated !
During a recent cold snap (-26 C) I noticed power steering fluid on the ground. It looks like it's leaking from the joint between the rubber hose and the steel tube.
It looks dry everywhere else. I haven't started the truck since I noticed the leak.
Do you think it would be safe to drive occasionally until I can attempt to repair it (when the weather warms up) ... or am I running the risk of the hose coming off or failing ?
My plan is to cut an inch off the hose and replace the rusty clamp with a screw type hose clamp - though we'll see once I get it apart.
