Hello i’m new here and wanting to see if any in here has installed a tesla style radio in there o4 to 08. i’ve looked for days on the net for articles pertaining to this with no luck. They only make this T-style radio for the 09 and up. when i asked about the 04-08 the only response i got was we don’t support the 04-08 models Any help Would be greatly appreciated thanks in advance

 

I'm always interested in modernizing our old outdated trucks, my forum has lots of new ideas to bring to our gens but I will definitely research this as I love making OEM parts from other ford's fit ours and will see what info I can shed on this custom build
** Update - quick question, can you shoot the link or company and part number of which you are referring to, reason why is so I know if it has built in ac controls or retaining the oem climate controls, also is yours flow through or bench style console? Flow through will be easier as the radio panel is longer and flat

** Second Update - if you have the bench style and if it doesn't retain the oem ac then the usable space you'd have is 9" in height X 8 1/4"
if keeping AC then you may have to buy a second radio panel to cut up and cut the ac section out and relocate it to the little pocket Cubby hole below the cup holders
