Rear End Swap From donor truck with lsd

Hey, I have a 2006 Mark LT with Axle Code 26. I have a worn out diff. My gears are 3 73 in a 9.75 axle The donor truck has an axle code of B6 with same 3 73 gears in a 9.75 axle. The only difference is my rear end is not limited slip and the donor truck is.

Will the donor truck limited slip rear end swap into my non limited slip truck? i am doing a complete rear end swap Thanks in advance!

Yes, as long as the axle shafts are the same size with the same number of splines.

Thanks, i just realized my post was a bit misleading. I am doing an entire rear end swap not an axle swap. I updated my original post to reflect this.

If it's the old style traction lock it will be a nice upgrade and no changes will have to be made except for the friction modifier added to the lube.

i am removing my entire rear end from my truck and replacing it with the donor trucks entire rear-end. no diff covers will be opened and no axle shafts will be removed...just trying to understand if there are any exterior differences or mounting differences or dimension differences on the limited slip rear-end vs the open diff rear-end that would make it not a 1 to 1 replacement.

Should be the same as long as it's out of the same generation truck.
