Timing chain replacement

Ok so I screw up. Before I new I had to set the crankshaft and cam in to natural position I pull off my guilds and chain. So what I'm asking is how can I fix it with out screwing up my valve and cylinders. I have the tool to set my crankshaft in right position but I'm scare if I turn it I hit a valve. So what do I do now. Can I put the old chain back on to turn them or does it have to me underpressure for the Chain to move them.

I would remove all the cam caps and remove the camshaft. Puts all the valves up and out of the way. Then you can rotate the engine to where it belongs. Or just remove all the rockers.
