2008 King Ranch

I am new to the forum.
I was fortunate enough to score this last July with 64k miles.
Has anyone successfully put a coyote into one of these?
I am interested in doing this the right way so that this truck will pass OBD2 emissions.

TIA

Yes a few have. Not very well documents though.

The most I've seen is a guy I follow on Instagram. F150_S550 is his username on there. He's also on YouTube.

He has a 2006 or 07 F150 STX that he put a supercharged Coyote in along with a 6r80 trans. Neat truck and did it in his garage.

Just realize it's easily 8-10k+ to swap these. And if you're 4wd, it's more involved.

NOT plug and play.

Greg its possible, possible, but won't be easy..

you will need to mirror your sensors into your existing PCM to get it to be happy.

You could put a Coyote into that I suppose, but I don't think I'd do it with that particular truck- does it have a salvage title?
I ask that because the two halves of the front bumper don't really line up, and they're supposed to bolt to each other; if
you're aiming for more power you CERTAINLY don't want to put that extra power through a frame that's been
through a serious accident.

I would just drive it the way it is. Also, I think I remember seeing an aftermarket company that's making "go-faster" camshafts
for these now; might have been like Uncle Vic Edelbrock or Crane- I would look on Jeg's to see if hop up parts for your 5.4 exist
it'd be way cheaper and waaaaay easier to do.

Regards

Thanks. No salvege, it's a clear title. The previous owner was a 74 year old man. There are a couple of tweaks in the bumper and the drivers side rear bedside rocker panel? by the bumper but it's straight and clean overall.
