I recently noticed one of the hoses that goes to the Vapor Canister on my 2004 F150 5.4L was not connected. Does anyone have a picture or can anyone tell me where this hose connects to (see picture below)?? I've been searching all over and can't find anything that shows where it goes to.

 

That's the outside air inlet hose to the system. It's probably supposed to be clipped into a holder or fastener "up high" so that dust, dirt, water etc don't get into it as easily.

You'll need to crawl under there an do a thorough visual exam looking for a now open spot where it came from.
