dead truck

went to start the truck the other day, and nothing.Key fob didnt work, no chime when you open the door, no lights , no dash, nothing comes on at all. Thought it might have been the battery and put a charger on it, but it said the battery was fully charged? So my next step is too look at fuses, but pending that i am not sure where to go with it. The truck is no parked at my house so its a pain in the *** to get to it, so i was hoping try multiple things when i finally do get to it.

It wont shift out of park, so i thought maybe neutral safety switch, but then maybe think its the starter.....not sure how to test either of those.

Any suggestions would be amazing.

Its a 2007 f150 4.6L with 4x4 supercrew

Did an animal chew any of the harness? My other thought could be a bad chassis ground somewhere.

Check the battery cable connections at both ends.

Could be, it was sitting and my work vehicle did have a mouse make a nest in it. Where would I even start looking for that?

Start at the fuse box and work your way back.

Rodents/squirrels/chipmunks can make a nest anywhere in a vehicle. Especially on top of a fuel tanks.

This past summer I dispatched a lot of chipmunks because they were destroying not only my garden, but also an electrical box by making nests and having babies.

Also, I had to fix a buddy's wiring on his Toyota Tacoma due to a rodent infestation in his garage. The wiring is actually made of some organic soybean coating. The rodents love it.

Key isn't going to prevent the lights from working.
