Would i be able to put a lightning engine in?

 

What is in it now and why do you want to swap? Putting in anything different than what it has will have varying degrees of issues.

 

so it has the 5.4 triton in it with 600 thousand km on it and its starting to burn oil real bad. There's 25 grand into this truck and the last thing it needs is a engine

 

A 5.4 3 valve out of a 2005, 2006, or 2007 F150/Expedition/Navigator/Mark LT is a direct swap. Anything else would require additional work involving wiring and electronics. Same with the transmission, which would have to be out of the same drive system - 2wd or 4wd.

 

Ok well I want something with more horsepower what else would there be that could work I will take it to a shop to get it done. Thanks in advance

 

How much money are you willing to spend? I'd get a rebuilt 5.4 3 valve and put a supercharger on it.
