Left signal cuts off cruise

I'm whipping down the highway on cruise, set about 65 mph, I hit the left signal to pass a turtle, my cruise cuts off, I hit resume, and it's back on.

No such problem with a right turn signal.

Any ideas anyone? I've already returned my signal bulbs to their stock formats (didn't like how the LED bulbs messed with my electrics)

Have you tried swapping the bulbs from left to right to see if the problem follows the bulb? Could just have a bad bulb.

Oh yeah, my 2006 CVPI issued police car would do that occasionally, replaced MFS under warranty, cured.

Nice, problem with mine, she's a 2005 with better than 149,000 miles, so no warranty.
But I'll check the MFS, thanks

That was it...kinda, my brother suggested I check all four turn signal lights to see if they all lit.
I did, they didn't, I replaced the right rear bulb.
Lo and behold, my cruise works again, even when I use the left signal

Thanks for all the input and help
