please listen to video

ok, this is what happened yesterday. literally out of no where when I was making a right turn going like 2 mph. I heard a aluminum clanging sound. (sounded like a thin piece of metal or something was scraping and bouncing off of the ground). The truck also shuddered a little bit as if when you do not give enough gas in a stick shift car and it jumps or shudders. It went away but I pulled over. I looked underneath and nothing. everything was fine. I listened to the truck from the wheel well on the drivers side and it did sound a little louder than it has before with the ticking and it kind of had a gurgling sound.(like a diesel or when the bottom end is going. not loud at all though) I drove forward and back and I heard the same sound as before when I was turning but way quieter. At this time the truck was probably driving for about 3 hrs on and off. I drove home and it took like 15 min. on the way home the truck had a very little vibration. (like going over p gravel). it had all kinds of power though, no hesitations, no stalling, no nothing and idled fine. As I turned into the drive the clang noise came back and my the time I got to the garage (maybe 100ft) all hell broke loose. it got super loud as if something was on the inside of the motor pounding to get out. I went out this morning to see if a pully was loose or the plugs popped out but all was good. I started it back up and it was relatively quiet. ( I guess the normal 5.4 injector sounds maybe) I drove up and down the street and it was fine. as it started to warm up the noise would get louder and sound like a quiet diesel again. these videos are of today after it got warmed up. Ok. this is my question. Is this the dreaded 5.4 tick and clang that need the front of the engine redone and to check the hydraulic lifters and rockers? O. their was no engine light on. No codes. It was running fine. Seriously. it just happened. Maybe my ears are not trained yet to here the correct signs yet.
thank you

Probably not a valid file extension or the filesize is too large. Upload them to YouTube and link to them.

I recommend new VCTs and a Melling oil pump.

thanks. I watched the video. sounds like what I have but not as loud yet, although I did have loud banging like something wanted to come through the block.
what is the best phaser kit? ( I want to do it once and be done, and not do it again in 4 months)
