Most vehicles have a drain plug for the transmissions and diffs.
Not these days. I haven't seen an automatic transmission pan with a factory drain plug since the old Chevy Powerglide.

My 2016 6F35 transmission has a drain plug, and a fill level port, but no dipstick.
