Brake controller

A lotta great advice on here. I searched my issue but can not find an answer. Here's my issue, 2006 f150 styleside.
So my truck came with factory plug for my brake controller and I plug it all in, but the controller has no power.
when I hook my camper up everything works except the brakes.

is there a separate fuse for the controller to get power?

all lights work, battery charger works, the only thing that doesn't is the brake controller..
