I have added the keypad Handle on my truck and while there where some cases of it being plug and play it looks like mine is not.
The key pad will not light up telling me it's not turned on in the system. However I have the number card in the glove box but my box behind the seat has a different number on it. Any way to bypass me paying the dealer or buying a ids clone? Can't get confirmation it will work on the trucks so I'm a little hesitant.

From what I have come up with it's going to cost me 140 to take it to the dealer out here to turn it on.

 

Do some research, maybe FORScan can do it.

 

neat app but not much functionality to it. dealer or knock off unit is all i have found and i cant confirm it will work on the trucks for some reason. have a tech2 clone that has been flawless but the ids system seems more spotty.
