Bothersome rattle
'04 FX4 Scab 5.4 3v
Whenever I roll over rough or bumpy surfaces there is a rattle that seems to be coming from the where the driver's door meets up with the rear door. Have taken all the panels off both doors, used foam adhesive on any area where there might be metal to metal contact, checked the widow clamps on the activators to make sure they were snug. Still rattles and driving me nuts. Anybody have the same issue?

My '07 rattles like an old Blue Bird school bus from new... mostly from both the driver and passenger side doors. Mine is a regular cab, 8' bed.
I remember asking the dealer when I was buying it, if that was normal, they told me yes.
Even driving other trucks in the similar configuration in the same model year, presented the same noises. So whatever it is, the noises are consistent.

No, I have the manual which was stupid on my part because I can never get to it while driving and there is never anyone in the back seat. The rattle is definitely coming from either the very back end of the driver's side door or the very front end of the left rear passenger door. I'm going to remove the panels then ask my neighbor if he'll go for a ride with me, sit in the back seat and try to find it.
