I would start by checking the timing teeth, and check the sensors.

Can you post the code from the ABS system? Please.

Hmm, haven't put a scanner on it for a code. I'm not mech inclined so, would that be the same code reader as the kind you borrow from, say, Auto Zone? Just a general code reader? I don't even know what timing teeth are, and am going to replace the sensor on the rear pumpkin. I understand that's cheap and easy to replace?
Thank you ManualF150 for taking the time to share your knowledge!

Sometimes the AutoZone places have the ones that will read more than just engine diag codes. Depends on the owner of the store.

The timing teeth are on each front wheel and the one on the rear differential.

This picture is of a front tone ring (random vehicle, but they all look the same):

You first need to find out which wheel is slipping and somehow get that code read.

I wouldn't start buying parts just yet, unless you know for sure.

Problem fixed. Along with said ABS symptoms, a rotation rubbing sound ensued. Turns out, a bad bearing and race was the culprit. Nothing wrong with the ABS at all. Ya never know

Ahh, yes. That will cause it.

8 times out of 10 you will get worse noise than a rubbing sound when you have a bad bearing.

Glad you got it fixed!
